I’m right handed, but I keep my phone in my left pocket since I like to be able to pull out my phone to check the map or msgs while using my primary hand for another activity.

When texting, I usually use both hands but certainly can type with just my left hand.

Where do you keep your phone & why?

Phone right front. Wallet right back.

Keys left front. You can’t keep a phone and keys in the same pocket. Especially not with the size of modern phones.

Consistency means I always know if I’ve forgotten my phone keys/wallet. There’s never searching or wondering where they’ve gone.

I use a really thin non-folding wallet. Sometimes it’s in the back and sometimes I put it in the front pocket for more security.

I’ve seen some of the 4 inch thick wallets that people sit on. No idea how or why.

Well, lookee here at Mr. Moneybags who actually has enough bills for that to be a concern! \s

I use a very thin bifold wallet like this (stock photo; not my ID):

Mine is currently 13.6 mm thick, folded with all my cards and stuff in it. (I happen to have a set of Vernier calipers sitting on my desk in front of me so I went ahead and measured, LOL.)

I used to keep mine in my back pocket, then I noticed that my leg would go numb during long drives. Kinda put two and two together and started keeping it in the front pocket.

Spot on. This is EXACTLY my answer. Same logic behind it and everything.

Car keys in right pocket. Phone in left. I think it’s because cell phones weren’t very common when I started driving, haha. So my keys beat my phone to the right pocket by about 2 years or so.

Yeah I got my first phone around the time I started driving, and then it really only had enough minutes for emergencies or letting my parents know where I’d be. Also I start the car with my right hand so left pocket seems silly.

Left handed, left pocket, nothing else in that pocket. Sometimes left coat or jacket pocket but prefer pants.

I use whichever pocket is handy, and I can be seen checking all my pockets every 45 seconds to remind me which pocket my phone is in, lest I need it.
    Rinse and repeat.

Big enough to hold my personal phone, work phone, 9" tablet, wallet, passport, my medical gear, and my concealed carry handgun. ;) Decent sized!

I have the same bag in a slightly larger size if I want to pack my Steam Deck. LOL.

Between my butt cheeks as it helps me stay fit by clenching my butt all day.

Also, in my roght pocket as I’m right handed and use my phone a lot.

Right handed, phone front left, keys front right, wallet back right. It’s a perfect system. Not sure about other countries but in the US the key start is always on the right side of the steering column and I unlock doors with my right hand.

Same as you. Right Handed, left pocket. My wallet is in my right front pocket. I would bet my older age has everything to do with this.

    Phone: Right back pocket.

Wallet: Left back pocket, sometimes passport.

Leatherman: Right front pocket, potentially keys. Sharp metal things mostly, nothing that can get damaged.

Utility pack/earbuds/emergency usb-c charger: Left front.

Pack has a small toolkit and some usb-cables for charging.

I switch pockets depending on what I am doing. Sometimes left, sometimes right.
